At the initiative of the staff, money has been raised over the past weeks to put together food parcels and distribute these to hospital patients, visitors, and people living in the vicinity of the hospital.
We decided to select the Pham Ngoc Thach hospital because many of the people that come here or are admitted here live in poverty. As a company, we were proud of this initiative from our staff and therefore we decided to make a contribution ourselves by doubling the donations and by paying for all additional costs (transportation, water for our volunteers, etc.).
Last Sunday, the volunteers got together at the entrance of the Pham Ngoc Thach hospital in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh City. With the donations, we were able to prepare 530 parcels consisting of rice, vegetables, meat, and milk. At 08:00 hours, some of the volunteers handed out 500 coupons, with which people could pick up a food parcel later that morning between 09:00 and 10:00 hours. In the meantime, the remaining group of volunteers was preparing the parcels at the entrance of the hospital.

In total, we have collected 473 coupons. During the distribution of the parcels, there was also a group of people without a coupon. This group waited patiently until 10:00 after which they were given the remaining parcels.
After this success, company and staff decided they would pick out a charity every three months and commit themselves to this charity.
